The standard issue pistol for the Counter-terrorist is one of the better-balanced pistols. It holds a good combination of stopping power and clip load, and is auseful sidearm for any player. As with all pistols aiming at the chest and head are recommended, and 2-3 well placed rounds to the chest from a clip of 12 should stopan enemy.

The standard issue pistol for the Terrorist has an advantage carrying 20 rounds and the option of burst fire. But however, having 9mm ammunition makes this one of the weaker weapons in the game. Burst firing over a distance of more than 10 meters gives a major loss of accuracy. It would be better to train using single shots rapidly, this should keep the fast fire rate and accuracy.

The Deagle pistol is more powerful shot for shot than most submachine guns in the game, has the ability to shoot through crates and doors at close range. A very good choice of weapen for first to third round, can be used to snipe becouse of its accuracy. Also a good choice for a back-up pistol as a sniper. But beware its 7 round clip and slow rate of fire, this requires its users to be careful and accurate when firing. Take time and consideration into your shots, two or three hits to the chest will take out any foe.

A poor mans Desert Eagle is the best set of words used to describe the Sig Sauer P228. A faster firing Desert Eagle with less power and larger magazine capacity almost double that of its predecessor (13 rounds) the Sig Sauer is an excellent sidearm for those who are still working on their accuracy with pistols and have money to spare. Keep in mind though that while the P228 does fire faster than most pistols in the game, doing so makes the accuracy suffer, and should only be reserved for situations involving close quarter combat.

These may look cool and hold 30 rounds.... but becouse of the high fire rate they have no real accuracy and the 9mm ammo causes little damage to an opponant. They are great fun, so if youve got $1000 and want to be an action movie star for a round then go for it :)
