Israel made this weapon to compete with the AK-47 on the battle field. Currently the Israeli's "official" weapon, this weapon holds 32 5.56mm NATO rounds, compatible with the M4A1. Gearbox describes the weapon as like the AK, only heavier and thus more accurate. This weapon has been seen near the end of the movie The Way of the Gun.

Designed to rival the Terrorist's powerful AK-47, this weapon is known from its role in Metal Gear Solid. It will cost less than the M4A1 and its alternate fire will be burst fire (a three-round burst). A three-round burst fires three rounds faster than the auto-mode can fire the same amount, but has a delay between bursts. This is the official weapon on the French GIGN and will likely play that role in the single player side of the game. It holds 25 5.56mm NATO rounds per clip (the same round that the M4A1 uses). It's supposedly fairly accurate and powerful. Nice combination.

    • AK-47 is highly accurate when burst firing, aim for the chest and the recoil will move the the next few shots to the head. This is a deadly weapon when used correctly, can even be used by a sniper becouse of its accuracy.

    • Higher rate of fire than the AUG and M4, Accuracy that falls in the middle of the three. This is a deadly weapon is the hands of a skilled and patient player. When using this weapon use two second burst up close and snipe for headshots from a distance. Opening this weapon up causes bullets to go everywhere but your target. Be in control. Again. This weapon recoils aim low and it will rise as you fire.

    • The close combat weapon of choice. The accuracy for this weapon is good head shots from a distance are easily obtainable. Use two-second bursts on targets that are closer than 10 meters and half second burst on those farther away. Aim just below the neckline and you'll be rewarded with some good headshot kills. Be wary of the small clip and reserve size.

    Steyr AUG A1 (Counter-Terrorists Only)

    • The AUG is a choice weapon for long-range gunfights. When using the snipe mode always aim for the head. This will instantly kill your opponent.

    • A favorable weapon in large areas. This Scout fires with medium rate of fire, and a single bullet will take your opponents life down by half. Highly accurate and is great as you can move with high speed when using it. A good strategy for this one is to shoot you opponent once with it, then to take out your Berettas/Five-seven or grenade and finish him off. Just make sure that you did hit the first time.

    • AWM/AWP the one shot wonder. This IS the sniper rifle of choice. Aim a little ahead of moving distant targets. With its slow load speed between shots you really need to stay out of site. Make sure you get armour and a good backup pistol.

    G3/SG-1 Precision Sniper Rifle (T-Only)

    • G3/SG-1 lacks in accuracy, but makes up in power, best used when your hidden and have teamates surrounding you. Take your time to get the kill shot.

    • M249 PARA is a very powerful weapon with a slow rate of fire and vitually no accuracy Can shoot through almost any wall or door, and the bullets cause massive damage. Has a massive recoil, so the best thing to do is aim at the floor infront of your enemy. Ok for tight areas, but on an open plain you can be taken out easily.
